Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook III to join our culinary team at Tamarack Resort. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for hotel events, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to meet production levels and exceed customer expectations.
  • Prepare menu items according to recipes and yield guides, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef and Head Cook to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Minimize waste and maintain controls to achieve forecasted food costs.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a minimum formal education of a high school diploma.
  • Any required certification to handle food, with excellent customer service focus and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
  • Precise knife skills, including butchering skills with fish and steaks.
  • Knowledge of temperatures for meat, fish, and steaks, with the ability to produce a properly cooked product.
