Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Summary:
Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in developing and enhancing manufacturing processes to ensure timely and cost-effective hardware delivery with superior performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Integrated Product Team to design, control, and enhance the manufacturing process and system design.
- Leverage skills to implement improvements that reduce cycle time and costs, enhance productivity, and uphold a high level of safety and product quality in the manufacturing environment.
- Improve production cell layouts and CAD facilities layouts to reflect new equipment.
- Support the manufacturing floor with process changes.
- Apply aerospace principles for tooling manufacture.
- Manage projects and apply project management skills.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering.
- Course or training in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Problem-Solving Methodologies.
- Course or training in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
