Job Summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op, you will play a critical role in developing and enhancing manufacturing processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective hardware delivery, and collaborating with the Integrated Product Team to design, control, and enhance the manufacturing process and system design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance manufacturing processes through the study of products and manufacturing methods
  • Provide top-tier engineering and manufacturing support to ensure timely and cost-effective hardware delivery
  • Collaborate with the Integrated Product Team to design, control, and enhance the manufacturing process and system design
  • Implement improvements that reduce cycle time and costs, enhance productivity, and uphold a high level of safety and product quality in the manufacturing environment

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship is required. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering. Course or Training in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Problem-Solving Methodologies is preferred.
