Job Summary

The Greater Peoria Family YMCA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Property to lead our facility and property management efforts. This is an exciting opportunity for a mission-driven individual to join our cause-driven team and make a meaningful impact in the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and improvement operations of our facilities and vehicles, including preventative facility maintenance, housekeeping, and related budgets. They will also supervise and train staff to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and implement effective maintenance plans, manage budgets, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and improvement operations of facilities and vehicles
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans
  • Manage budgets and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
  • Collaborate with outside agencies to ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in facility management or a related field
  • Three or more years of experience in facility management or a closely related field
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
  • Ability to drive with a record that meets YMCA standards
