As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for converting prospects to leases, maintaining occupancy, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage property staff in the absence of the manager, ensuring maximum performance and efficiency.
- Respond to telephone inquiries, generate prospective resident visits, and maintain a high call-to-show ratio.
- Conduct apartment tours, utilize sales skills to demonstrate market-ready product, and close prospects.
- Follow up with prospective residents, monitor traffic, and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and process lease applications, conduct credit and reference checks, and set up lease files.
- Assist with resident problems and complaints, prepare newsletters, and participate in community activities.
- High school graduate or GED, with an associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) certification preferred.
- 2+ years of on-site experience as a Leasing Consultant and/or Assistant Community Manager, or 3+ years of supervisory experience in a customer service-related business.
- Ability to apply logical thinking, possess a positive attitude, and achieve Fair Housing certification.
- Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, and Yardi software.
- Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations, and willingness to participate in training.
