Position: Vehicle Certification Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of the latest regulations concerning buses and public transport vehicles.
- Perform tests and inspections to confirm adherence to compliance standards.
- Document certification processes in detail.
- Collaborate with engineers, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance protocols.
- Identify and address certification-related challenges.
- Assess prototype buses for regulatory compliance.
- Effectively communicate certification standards and outcomes.
- Stay updated on technological innovations and changes in regulations.
- Evaluate and manage risks linked to certification activities.
- Provide training on certification requirements.
- Support audits and inspections conducted by regulatory authorities.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Work Environment:
The work setting may involve exposure to elevated noise levels and moving mechanical components.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit, utilize hands, communicate, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Travel Requirements:
