Position Overview:

Staffmark Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated professional for an exciting opportunity within a leading global firm specializing in electronics and home appliances.


Role Summary:

The Sales Associate will play a pivotal role in assisting with sales presentations directed at potential customers, including consumers, builders, and specifiers. This position is integral in driving sales through local dealer referrals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct product sales presentations for individual consumer appointments within the showroom.
  • Facilitate and participate in monthly consumer demonstrations and educational classes.
  • Engage in follow-up communications with showroom customers and trade professionals.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to identify customer needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Assist customers in placing orders with dealers when necessary.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials, including social media content and promotional materials for the showroom.
  • Manage the showroom's social media presence, ensuring regular updates and customer engagement.
  • Handle various administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing customer inquiries, and maintaining communication with dealers.
  • Participate in dealer training events and assist in the development of training materials.
  • Build relationships with local designers by attending relevant industry events.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow up on leads and convert them into sales.
  • Strong presentation skills for product demonstrations.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Interest in high-end luxury appliances and culinary skills are advantageous.
