This full-time position is based in a collaborative environment where you will work alongside skilled software professionals to deliver exceptional software solutions that enhance business operations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead both manual and automated testing efforts, analyze business and functional requirements, and collaborate with business users to define the scope of the testing strategy independently.
  • Facilitate team meetings to discuss project status and challenges. Engage in peer reviews of functional specifications, application previews, and test plans/test cases.
  • Prepare and execute test cases, develop test scripts, and review testing documentation. Evaluate testing processes and implement strategies for quality assurance using Agile methodologies.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira for defect management and qTest for managing testing activities.
  • Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated functional testing using various frameworks and tools.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience in testing web-based client-server applications using both manual and automated techniques.
  • Familiarity with EMV/Chip technologies, TCP/IP protocols, AIX, and LINUX, as well as experience with payment emulators and related domains.
  • Proficient in writing complex queries for data retrieval from relational databases and developing payment utilities.
  • Knowledge of major payment applications and QA methodologies, including experience with tools like POSTMAN and JMeter.
  • Expertise in ISO 8583 and XML messaging formats.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence is advantageous.
  • Understanding of scripting and DevOps practices, including CI/CD processes and containerization.
  • Interest or experience in the financial industry is a plus.
