Company Overview: SoHo Dragon is a prominent investment banking firm seeking to enhance its technological capabilities through the recruitment of a SharePoint Tech Lead.

Position Summary: The SharePoint Tech Lead will serve as a pivotal figure in overseeing the architecture, development, and maintenance of internal SharePoint systems. This role is essential for delivering innovative solutions using Microsoft SharePoint Server 2016, SharePoint Online, and related Microsoft .Net technologies, including C#.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement solutions that align with business technology strategies.
  • Provide expert technical guidance, establishing business and technical requirements as part of project initiatives.
  • Develop and deploy SharePoint system solutions, enhancing both backend and frontend functionalities.
  • Lead the technical design and development processes, ensuring robust functional design and system architecture.
  • Create and present innovative prototypes for evaluation and feedback.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of all SharePoint system environments.
  • Conduct technical analysis and design of SharePoint systems, utilizing model-driven design practices.
  • Draft functional and technical specifications based on business needs.
  • Guide the development and implementation of SharePoint solutions, focusing on technical design and prototyping.
  • Establish portals and workflows, crafting coding frameworks and components supported by the SharePoint environment.
  • Define the strategy and standards for effective SharePoint solution delivery.
  • Ensure technical governance and security across SharePoint environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Over 6 years of experience in SharePoint 2016 architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Proven track record in developing best practice SharePoint information architectures and workflows.
  • Experience with integration of backend operational and content management systems.
  • Familiarity with component-based applications, including web services and application integration.
  • Microsoft SharePoint Certification (MCSE/MCSD) is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Technology Stack, including .Net Framework, C#, VB.Net, ADO.Net, ASP.Net, and Angular 13.
  • Experience with SharePoint technologies such as SharePoint Designer and Web Part Development.
  • Strong understanding of web portal design, content management, and user experience.
  • Ability to manage development environments using source control tools.
  • Skilled in project management and technical design.
  • Expertise in translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with IT architectures and technical frameworks.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SharePoint Online, including:
    • PowerShell using SharePoint and PnP Modules.
    • SharePoint Framework with Angular.
    • PowerApps and Power Automate.
  • Design and development experience with SharePoint themes, templates, and CSS.
  • Strong knowledge of Angular and other client-side frameworks.
  • Experience with SharePoint application services framework, including Search and Managed Metadata.
