Role Summary
The Campaign Legal Center Inc. is in search of a Senior Specialist in Employee Engagement to formulate and implement strategies aimed at enhancing organizational diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives while boosting employee morale, satisfaction, and productivity. This position entails evaluating engagement obstacles and crafting programs designed to elevate job satisfaction, retain talent, and cultivate a positive, inclusive, and diverse workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the DEI Employee Engagement committee to provide administrative support and ensure they have the necessary resources for effective operations.
  • Oversee projects and recommendations from the DEI Employee Engagement subcommittees, ensuring timely completion.
  • Devise strategies focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion to align with the organization's DEI objectives.
  • Establish and maintain an open-door communication policy for employees and the DEI Employee Engagement committee to interact with management.
  • Conduct surveys and collect feedback to gauge employee satisfaction levels.
  • Design and manage initiatives that recognize and reward employees for outstanding contributions and performance.
  • Work in partnership with various departments to develop initiatives and programs that enhance employee engagement.
  • Facilitate team-building events and activities.
  • Provide training and coaching to managers on strategies to improve employee satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze engagement metrics, offering recommendations for enhancements.
  • Assess trends and adjust engagement strategies as required.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of DEI principles, best practices, and emerging trends in diversity and inclusion.
  • Proven experience in implementing effective DEI strategies and programs.
  • Experience in project management and organizational solutions implementation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and tackle challenging assignments.
  • Collaborative approach to work.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in human resource information systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
