Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough audits of employee benefit plans to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and review audit work papers, adjusting trial balances as needed.
  • Utilize time management skills to plan and schedule client engagements efficiently.
  • Assemble trial balances and compile financial statements into a written report for presentation.
  • Effectively communicate the accuracy of financial statements and other financial information to clients and colleagues.
  • Foster strong relationships with coworkers and clients through continuous communication and collaboration.
  • Travel to client sites as needed to provide on-site support.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on assurance services.
  • 1+ year of experience in Employee Benefit Plan audits preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
  • Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with audit software such as CaseWare.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team.
