Senior Audit Associate, Employee Benefit Plans Specialist

Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough audits of employee benefit plans to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review audit work papers, adjusting trial balances as needed.
- Utilize time management skills to plan and schedule client engagements efficiently.
- Assemble trial balances and compile financial statements into a written report for presentation.
- Effectively communicate the accuracy of financial statements and other financial information to clients and colleagues.
- Foster strong relationships with coworkers and clients through continuous communication and collaboration.
- Travel to client sites as needed to provide on-site support.
- 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on assurance services.
- 1+ year of experience in Employee Benefit Plan audits preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
- Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with audit software such as CaseWare.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team.
