The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) is a leading organization in the field of democracy and civic space. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our World Movement for Democracy team as an intern.

The ideal candidate will have strong research, writing, and communication skills, as well as a strong interest in democracy and human rights. The intern will assist in updating the World Movement website and social media channels, conduct research for the newsletter, and draft alerts for activists facing danger.

The team seeks an individual who is a registered student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate-level program in a related field. The intern will support ongoing work on projects, such as the Civic Space Initiative and #SetThemFree campaign, as well as event logistics.

Qualified candidates should have excellent writing skills, strong analytical skills, and a strong work ethic. Students must also have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Familiarity with social media platforms and other programs is a plus.
