KPRC 2, a leading NBC affiliated station, is seeking a seasoned National Sales professional to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets through innovative strategies and exceptional leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at leading advertising agencies and direct clients to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Collaborate with sales management to identify and address cross-platform strategies and workflow issues, creating interactive products and packages that meet client needs.
  • Lead and motivate the National Sales team to achieve revenue goals and deliver exceptional results.
  • Make informed business decisions that balance profitability with client needs, ensuring ethical and sustainable sales practices.
  • Communicate effectively with General Sales Manager and General Manager regarding market conditions, sales opportunities, and business matters.
  • Develop and execute sales promotions that benefit both clients and the station.
  • Design and implement sales and advertising programs that deliver expected ROI for advertisers.
  • Provide regular revenue forecasts and market insights to inform business decisions.
  • Travel to key U.S. ad markets to build relationships and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead the station's political sales efforts, ensuring timely payments and public file compliance.
  • Foster a positive sales environment by collaborating with Local Sales Managers and General Sales Manager.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in broadcast/digital sales, product knowledge, and local market analytics, preferably TV sales and management.
  • Expert knowledge of research and ratings metrics, with Wide Orbit Traffic and Wide Orbit Media Sales experience a plus.
  • Leadership experience, with a track record of managing sales staff to achieve revenue goals and high performance.
  • Exceptional coaching and communication skills, with the ability to share vision and build loyalty.
  • Flexibility in a dynamic work environment, with a valid driver's license and reliable automobile.
  • College degree preferred.
