Job Title: Employee Benefits Manager

Staffpro is seeking a highly skilled Employee Benefits Manager to lead the effort for employee benefits programs. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, happiness, and security of our employees while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Oversight
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits programs.
    • Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes related to employee benefits and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Policy Development
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, implement, and update benefits compliance policies and procedures.
    • Ensure benefits policies align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Audit and Reporting
    • Conduct regular audits of benefits programs to identify potential compliance issues and discrepancies.
    • Generate comprehensive reports detailing compliance status, potential risks, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Vendor Management
    • Collaborate with benefits vendors to ensure their programs and services meet compliance requirements.
    • Review and negotiate contracts with benefits providers for legal compliance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in benefits compliance management.
    • Implement best practices and industry benchmarks to enhance compliance effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent proven experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in employee benefits compliance.
  • Specific experience with new hire benefit enrollments, qualified events, open enrollment, COBRA administration, educating employees on wellness programs, benefits promotion, invoice reconciliation, maintaining benefits compliance documents, family medical leave tracking, and disability claims management.
