We are currently seeking a Site Civil Operations Manager to oversee our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surpass client expectations and nurture client relationships through effective collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project status.
  • Address concerns promptly and build rapport with stakeholders.
  • Prepare project proposals that include schedules and financial estimates.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with technical, financial, and client coordination requirements, including permitting processes.
  • Manage and allocate tasks and schedules to team members efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to individual and departmental quality assurance and quality control procedures.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress effectively.
  • Achieve profitability targets established by the Department Manager.
  • Assist the Department Manager in implementing operational processes and procedures.
  • Advise the Department Manager on all operational and management activities related to projects.
  • Lead and mentor staff, including civil designers and CAD technicians, to ensure responsibilities are met efficiently.
  • Engage in business development by maintaining existing client relationships and establishing new contacts through local meetings and events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Professional registration is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in software applications such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Extensive design experience in planning, site layout, landscaping, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion control.
  • Familiarity with entitlement processes and local permitting regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills to define problems, gather data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions.
  • Exceptional communication skills to represent the organization effectively.
  • Capability to sit for extended periods and walk on job sites as necessary.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
