Position Details- Role: Client Admissions Specialist
- Location: San Antonio, TX
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a full-time Client Admissions Specialist to become part of our customer-oriented, collaborative team. Our Customer Service department operates in a dynamic, high-energy setting where critical thinking is essential. You will be surrounded by a close-knit team that shares a commitment to supporting medically fragile children and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient intake processes
- Verify insurance eligibility and requirements
- Secure prior authorizations
- Maintain comprehensive patient records
- Coordinate services with clinical staff and referrals
- Manage patient supply and service orders
- Engage in additional learning and growth opportunities as they arise
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in durable medical equipment (DME) intake or admissions is preferred
- Strong organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with proficient keyboard abilities, are essential. A proactive approach combined with a customer service mindset is required.
- Familiarity with Brightree EHR is advantageous
Pediatric Home Service is a pediatric home health agency that has been delivering high-quality DME and nursing services to medically fragile children since 1990. Our services enable clients to thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. We primarily serve children from birth to 21 years old, many of whom utilize various medical technologies, including tracheostomies, ventilators, or g-tubes.
