Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-admission evaluations to determine the appropriateness of hospice services
  • Initiate the admission process by educating patients and families about our services
  • Obtain informed consent and provide nursing assessments, initial plans of care, and interventions to optimize patient comfort and quality of life

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
  • Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • 1 year of hospice experience preferred
  • Ability to make independent decisions and work effectively in a team environment
