Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Filtration Technical Specialist. Reporting to the Filtration Sales Manager, this key member of the Forberg Smith Sales Team will be responsible for customer sales and sales satisfaction through direct contact, phone, or other electronic communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a territory with a growth outlook and forecast analysis
  • Act as a primary contact for assigned accounts
  • Build and grow sales utilizing software platforms
  • Maintain product knowledge of supplier partners (Parker Hannifin and Donaldson), application expertise, and pricing structures
  • Lead presentations, negotiate effectively, prepare business proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and produce sales planning materials
  • Conduct regular and consistent customer visits and offsite work activities
  • Manage territory and customer base with a small business owner mindset
Requirements
  • 5 years of technical selling experience
  • Bachelor's degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn business/distribution software package
