Part-Time Sales Stylist

We are looking for a Part-Time Sales Stylist to assist in showcasing our brand and products to customers in our retail environment.

As a Joybird Sales Stylist, your primary focus will be to guide customers through our extensive collection, helping them identify pieces that complement their space, align with their style, and suit their lifestyle. Our store teams are approachable, solution-focused, empathetic, and proactive in driving sales. Recognizing that furniture shopping can be a detailed process, we seek Sales Stylists who can maintain engagement with customers through follow-ups after their showroom visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become well-versed in the complete Joybird catalog and offer tailored style advice and product suggestions to meet each customer's specific needs.
  • Proactively reach out to customers who have previously visited the showroom but have not yet made a purchase, aiming to convert their interest into sales.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Service team to ensure a seamless experience for our customers from start to finish.
  • Assist online customers with their shopping journey through an integrated chat function on the Joybird website.
  • Maintain the showroom's aesthetic appeal.
  • Support with floor model deliveries and pickups, as well as help rearrange furniture within the showroom.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in retail sales (preferred).
  • A strong interest in interior design and furniture.
  • A self-motivated individual who can independently achieve store and personal objectives.
  • Solution-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Skilled in resolving customer service challenges while adhering to company policies.
  • Experience in maintaining a personal client book (preferred).
  • Comfortable using technology, particularly iPads and Macs.
  • Proficient with G-Suite applications (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
  • Able to lift and move medium to large items weighing up to 50 lbs, utilizing appropriate equipment and safety measures.
  • Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
