Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as a Miscellaneous Metals Estimator, you will:

  • Interpret and analyze construction documents and specifications to deliver detailed estimates for a range of miscellaneous metal projects.
  • Calculate material and labor costs accurately and prepare comprehensive proposals.
  • Engage with clients to clarify project details and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to General Contractors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, monitor post-bid activities, and assess the outcomes of bids.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Steel/Miscellaneous Metals Industry is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu is advantageous for reviewing construction documents.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical capabilities, and problem-solving skills are crucial for producing accurate estimates and proposals.
