Position Summary

As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will be integral to the repair and assembly of diverse machinery components, collaborating closely with both Engineering and Maintenance departments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Executing immediate repairs both on-site and within the workshop environment.
  • Enhancing mobile equipment through upgrades to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Skillfully operating heavy machinery, including a 100-ton press brake, 1⁄2" shear, and radial arm drill press.
  • Utilizing oxy/acetylene burning tables alongside various arc and plasma welding and cutting tools.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Pay: $46.82 per hour
Premiums: Tool Premium of $0.20 per hour


Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM


Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a heavy industrial setting, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality welding repairs and fabrication.
  • Experience with cast iron and aluminum materials is a valuable asset.
  • A welding certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Quick learning aptitude and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer operations and data entry.
