Job Opportunity: Insurance Marketer

Cottingham & Butler is seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our team as an Insurance Marketer. As an Insurance Marketer, you will leverage your industry expertise to negotiate competitive pricing with insurance companies, ensuring the best possible deals for our clients.

About the Role

This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers to craft optimal solutions for our clients. You will analyze and understand the insurance marketplace to develop and implement effective marketing strategies for commercial placements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Client Exposure Research: Thoroughly research and understand clients' exposures to prepare comprehensive submissions.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing of P&C insurance coverage with underwriters.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare and review quotes, proposals, and rating worksheets, comparing multiple insurance programs to present the best options.
  • Relationship Management: Build and manage relationships with carrier partners by attending meetings and events.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience in the insurance industry, with a strong track record of successful negotiations and deal-making.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Attributes: Driven, self-starter, hardworking, and energetic.
