Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests, keeping the Service team advised.
  • Accurately prepare, process, review, and monitor various documents, including certificates of insurance, Auto ID cards, binders, audits, endorsements, renewal information request forms, and draft of insurance specifications.
  • Collect and analyze client exposure data.
  • Promptly respond to routine requests for data and questions from clients, underwriters, and internal staff.
  • Develop and maintain client service plans, manage mid-term changes, and assist in Stewardship reviews.
  • Provide leadership to others on the team and at the company, typically responsible for coordination and managing the work of others on the account.
  • Responsible for new client setup and ongoing client maintenance in the appropriate agency management system(s), including filing documents and updating client information, tracking the status of open items, and providing documents to clients and team members as requested.
  • Complete premium finance agreement requests and create premium allocations as needed, verify accuracy of invoicing, and handle accounting issues.
  • Request and summarize loss runs, may process claims, and provide client advocacy.
  • Meet with prospects and clients as needed to enhance knowledge of client accounts.
  • Assist with new account development, including review of the account to explore possibility of uninsured or underinsured exposures.
  • Participate in the marketing process, including contacting markets, initiating new business, reviewing quotes, preparing coverages and proposals.
  • Attend Continuing Education classes.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven commitment to high-quality customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to evaluate and prioritize multiple projects/tasks to maximize the number of internal and external clients that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting service requirements.
  • Good keyboard and PC skills using word processing and spreadsheet software, familiarity with various software applications, and the ability to learn new software systems.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of B&B systems and processes.
  • Ability to work in a team environment that is constantly changing.
  • College degree preferred.
  • 3 or more years related experience and licensed as a Producer of Property and Casualty in applicable state. Participate in continuing education to maintain the appropriate level of credentials.
