Insurance Placement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Placement Specialist to join our team at World Insurance Associates, LLC. As an Insurance Placement Specialist, you will play a critical role in coordinating placement activities for new and renewal business, working under the direction of senior staff to achieve business retention and production goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate placement activities for new and renewal business, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients and prospective clients.
- Work under the direction of senior staff to achieve business retention and production goals.
- Build and grow relationships with clients, carrier representatives, and fellow World associates.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of applicable coverages, carrier guidelines, alternative funding arrangements, underwriting, and legislative changes.
- Collaborate with National Placement resources to ensure client's and prospective client's coverage needs are comprehensively addressed.
- 3 to 5 years industry experience in commercial insurance brokerage, placement, carrier underwriting, and carrier relationship management role; or in combination.
- Complete and thorough understanding of a national insurance broker's sales, service, and placement process.
- Strong ability to influence and negotiate with trading partner peers, and achieve optimal outcomes for clients and prospective clients.
- Proficient in all Microsoft office products, with mid-level expertise in Excel.
- Preferred insurance designation such as ARM or CPCU, and licensed Property & Casualty insurance producer in resident state.
