Vice President, Business Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Business Operations to join our team at Mastercard. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Site Reliability Engineers and Support Technicians to ensure the smooth operation of our business operations functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of Site Reliability Engineers and Support Technicians to ensure the availability, capacity, performance, monitoring, self-healing, and deployment automation of our platforms.
- Partner with developers to design, build, implement, and support technology services that meet the needs of our business.
- Ensure operational criteria are implemented throughout the delivery process to ensure system availability, capacity, performance, monitoring, self-healing, and deployment automation.
- Work with a global team spread across tech hubs in multiple geographies and time zones to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior resources to ensure the growth and development of the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience, within Security and/or Enterprise Monitoring Context.
- Experience working through others to solve complex business problems and effect change.
- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
- Ability to challenge current practices to promote efficiencies and deliver positive results.
- Experience in dealing with difficult situations and making decisions with a sense of urgency.
- Interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong project management skills and success in managing large-scale cross-functional teams.
- Experience in working across development, operations, and product teams to prioritize needs and to build relationships.
