Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and scheduling crews to complete assigned work orders, ensuring high-quality installations and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule crews to complete work orders, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to crew members, ensuring clear communication and expectations
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure installations meet or exceed codes, contractual obligations, and best practices
  • Monitor task completion, compliance, and safety issues, taking corrective action as necessary
  • Collaborate with site Q.C. representatives to implement 3-Phase Quality Control and ensure adherence to QAQC schedules
  • Document and report discrepancies, nonconformities, and quality issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Participate in QAQC Design Review of Engineering & Coordination drawings to identify constructability issues
  • Provide feedback on weekly installation quality scorecards and review ongoing quality issues with the crew
Requirements
  • 6-8 years of experience in the electrical industry with a High School diploma or GED
  • 4-6 years of experience with an Associate degree
  • Journeyman / Master Electrician license is required
  • Ability to lift at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period
  • Ability to work at various heights up to 60 feet and climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders
  • Good vision, ability to see in color, and ability to hear and communicate in English
Physical Abilities
  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period
  • Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders
  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis
Education

High School diploma or GED, or Associate degree
