RQ Construction Electrical Foreman Job Description

At RQ Construction, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to join our Electrical Self-Perform team for construction projects based in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct assigned construction crews on a project jobsite to safely produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality control measures, and production targets.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including schedules, budgets, and quality control metrics.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required for this position.
  • College courses in construction management, engineering, etc. preferred.
  • Two or more years work experience in a Foreman position, with a focus on electrical trades on medium or large projects.
  • Foreman experience in multiple trades is a plus.
  • Three or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in the construction industry, with government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet, is preferred.
  • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications, EM-385, and STS are required.
