Position Overview
The Cryptographic Security Engineering team is responsible for designing, building, and supporting service platforms that deliver cryptographic, key management, and certificate management functionalities utilized by Mastercard's global application teams.
The ideal candidate will possess a profound technical understanding of the applications and systems they engage with and will be proactive in seeking answers to ensure efficient execution of plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Focus: Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, the ecosystem, and key market dynamics.
- Vision Setting: Lead various teams in adopting lean product management practices, defining and refining a product vision and objectives, and maintaining a domain roadmap.
- Requirements Definition: Translate product requirements into well-defined epics, features, and stories with measurable outcomes.
- Agile Advocacy: Promote an agile approach to product development, collaborating closely with engineering teams.
- Delivery Oversight: Ensure the successful delivery and testing of product features while measuring outcomes and seeking continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in product management or new product development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
- Strong background in Lean Product management principles and agile methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
- Proficient in grooming user stories and managing a product backlog.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to define measurable metrics for decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of cryptography is advantageous.
