About the Role:

The Sales Strategist will serve as a field-based, direct sales professional responsible for driving client retention and growth through strategic contract expansion and innovative product introductions.

Key responsibilities include consulting with C-level executives to develop and implement effective, enterprise-wide strategies that maximize value delivered by Gartner's products and services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive account management initiatives resulting in increased customer satisfaction and retention
  • Pursue quota responsibility exceeding $800,000 in contract value within a designated territory of major client accounts
  • Maintain mastery and consistent execution of Gartner's sales methodology
  • Develop and execute account plans and manage territories effectively
  • Maintain accurate forecasts on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activity
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Gartner's products and services

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services, software, or consultative environment), with a proven track record of success in sales
  • Strong intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with C-level executives at large enterprise organizations
  • Excellent computer proficiency and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the full sales process lifecycle
  • Bachelor's or master's degree - preferred

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: $98,500 - $145,500 per year
