The Chief of Staff will work closely with the Chairman and CEO of Nanobiosym. This pivotal role is centered on ensuring the seamless and effective operation of the organization. The Chief of Staff will manage internal communications and represent the CEO to various external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and potential business opportunities. The ideal candidate will anticipate needs and challenges, providing logical, innovative, and creative solutions autonomously. They will be expected to communicate changes in priorities and decision-making processes efficiently while managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks according to the CEO's and the organization's needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, ensuring that objectives are met and priorities are effectively communicated.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external communications.
  • Enhance the efficiency of business operations from a supportive role.
  • Oversee the execution of long-term projects in a diligent, cost-effective manner.
  • Collaborate with internal staff to prepare briefing materials for the CEO.
  • Generate executive summaries and provide daily briefings to the CEO on key issues and projects.
  • Manage the CEO's extensive travel and meeting schedule, including logistics and speech preparation.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and events: invite participants, schedule venues, negotiate with vendors, and ensure necessary materials are prepared.
  • Be available for on-call support as needed.
  • Handle significant correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships on behalf of the CEO.
  • Manage public relations with national and international media.
  • Draft and oversee correspondence related to sensitive and confidential matters.

Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Experience in operations, administration, or a startup environment is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical abilities.
  • Commitment to hard work, with the ability to take direction and foresee challenges without explicit guidance.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to create correspondence and content that reflects a nuanced understanding of industry-specific topics, company standards, and procedural guidelines.
  • Aptitude for working under tight deadlines and adapting to rapidly changing demands.
