The Chief of Staff will report directly to the Chairman and CEO of Nanobiosym. This strategic role focuses on ensuring the organization's smooth and effective operation. To excel in this position, one must possess a natural ability to build strong, trusting partnerships across the organization. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for handling internal communications and representing the CEO to external parties, including clients, collaborators, and new business leads. This role requires a hands-on, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within a complex and rapidly changing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a strategic sounding board to the CEO to ensure goals and objectives are being achieved and priorities are communicated effectively.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external communications.
  • Enable the efficiency of business operations from behind the scenes.
  • Ensure the successful execution of long-term projects in an efficient, cost-effective, and diligent manner.
  • Interact with internal staff members to prepare briefing materials for the CEO.
  • Create executive summaries and brief the CEO daily on specific issues and projects.
  • Manage the CEO's extensive travel and meeting schedule, including transportation, accommodations, and speech preparation.
  • Organize meetings, conferences, and receptions, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Be available 24/7 to address any pressing matters.
  • Maintain heavy correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
  • Develop and maintain several long-term relationships on behalf of the CEO.
  • Manage public relations with national and international media streams.
  • Compose and manage sensitive and confidential correspondence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience.
  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Background in operations, administration, or a startup environment is preferred.
  • Developed negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability.
  • Willingness to work hard and take direction, as well as anticipate problems and their solutions without explicit guidance.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to compose correspondence and content materials with a nuanced understanding of industry-specific subject matter, company standards, and procedural guidelines.
  • The ability to work well under tight deadlines and respond to rapidly changing demands.
