Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager will play a key role in creating a positive store experience for customers, while also driving sales and achieving business objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for a retail professional to develop their leadership skills and contribute to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Create a positive store experience by greeting customers immediately, handling transactions professionally and enthusiastically.
  • Product Knowledge: Become familiar with brands, products, and prices to provide excellent customer service and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Merchandising: Buy used clothing and accessories, price and ticket items, and restock store according to merchandising plan.
  • Team Leadership: Assist manager in scheduling and managing employees, lead team meetings, and provide guidance and training to junior employees.
  • Store Operations: Be responsible for opening and closing the store, maintaining store displays and inventory levels, and enforcing company policy.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and management.

Requirements:

  • Retail Experience: Previous retail experience is required, with a focus on leadership and customer service.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in a leadership role is preferred, with a focus on team management and development.
  • Availability: Flexible availability is required, including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift at least 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
