We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Develop and maintain clear and accurate documentation for automation equipment and processes, ensuring seamless integration and maximum efficiency.
  • Equipment Procurement and Installation: Assist in the procurement and installation of equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective implementation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams, facilitating recommendations and design changes as needed, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Design and Troubleshooting: Design fixtures and tooling, evaluate processes for increased throughput, and troubleshoot product and process issues, implementing improvements and resolving problems.
  • Cost Savings and Quality Control: Develop and implement cost-saving measures and quality control systems, ensuring manufacturing processes and equipment meet capability and capacity requirements.
  • Research and Development: Research and develop new processes, equipment, and products, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in designing and supporting automated systems, and at least 2 years of practical experience in a production or assembly environment.
  • Skills: Excellent computer skills, especially in programming and software development, strong equipment troubleshooting skills, effective communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Desired Qualifications: Knowledge and experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies, and desired knowledge in Project Management, Risk Assessment, and Design of Experiments.
