Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant - RMA to join our team. The successful candidate will provide quality, timely medical care to stabilize clients and enable them to engage fully in treatment. This role will also involve assisting with all nursing shift duties, collaborating with extended medical and clinical teams, and managing medical supplies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care to clients, including vitals, drug screens, and medication management
  • Assist with nursing shift duties, including charting and reporting
  • Collaborate with medical and clinical teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
  • Manage and order medical supplies as needed
  • Schedule medical appointments and arrange aftercare providers for post-discharge
  • Assist with pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations
Requirements
  • High School diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid licensure to serve as a Medical Assistant in this state
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Collaborative, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of substance use and its bio-psychosocial consequences
