Medical Assistant Hand Surgery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Sentara Hand Surgery Spec Kempsville. As a Medical Assistant, you will work directly with a doctor, conducting phlebotomy, clinical, and clerical duties.
Responsibilities- Bring patients into rooms, take vitals, verify patient information, and prepare them for the doctor.
- Work directly with a doctor, conducting phlebotomy, clinical, and clerical duties.
- Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations.
- Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or certified EMT (EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic) required.
- High School or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
