Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team at BRC. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our community technicians and ensuring the smooth delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of community technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Assist the Assistant Director of Operations in overseeing departmental tasks and goals, and contribute to the development of strategies to achieve them.
  • Engage with clients in a client-centered approach, ensuring their safety and security while responding to emergency and crisis situations.
  • Monitor and report on notable events involving clients and/or staff, and assist clients with activities of daily living.
  • Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed, and perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • H.S. diploma/GED required; B.A. preferred.
  • One year supervisory experience preferred, with experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness and those living with mental illness and substance abuse.
  • Excellent writing skills and computer literacy required; NYC Fire Safety Certification and CPR Certification a plus.
  • Bilingual abilities a plus.
