Job Summary
The Site Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Summit Health site, ensuring the successful administrative, financial, and operational aspects of the facility. This role requires a strong leader who can manage, motivate, and develop a team of staff to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Management
- Scheduling, operational coverage, and payroll management for site staff
- Monitoring patient flow, managing front and back-office operations, and ensuring a smooth patient experience
- Collaborating with the HR team to formalize development plans for staff and managing employee relations issues
- Opening and closing the site, and assisting with clinical aspects as needed
- People Management
- Leading, coaching, developing, and evaluating the performance of site staff
- Implementing and monitoring measures to ensure the CityMD culture is observed
- Conducting formal performance reviews and collaborating with HR to manage employee relations issues
- Holding departmental meetings and on-site training sessions
- Business and Patient Management
- Meeting with patients to discuss concerns and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Managing the site expense budget and ensuring purchases are within guidelines
- Inspecting the facility daily for cleanliness and operational repairs
- Partnering with corporate departments for support and escalation of operational and patient issues
- Creating, analyzing, and reporting on business metrics such as wait times, provider patients per hour, and site NPS
Requirements
- 2+ years of management experience
- Bachelor's degree in management, business, or other applicable degree
- Ability to successfully multitask and excellent communication skills
- Comfortable with constructive confrontation and counseling management
- Bilingual language skills required or preferred based on site location
Additional Information
This role requires long shifts, weekends, and closing/opening shifts. The Site Operations Director will be responsible for directly managing X-Ray Technologists, Medical Assistants, Shift Supervisors, Scribes, and Assistant Managers.
