About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Safety Net. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a critical role in developing and verifying prospect lists, introducing our company to new clients via phone, and setting up appointments for our Business Development Representatives to meet with them and learn more about their business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and verify prospect lists to identify potential clients for our services
  • Make outbound telephone calls to prospective clients to introduce our company and set up appointments for our Business Development Representatives
  • Record information learned and details of interactions into our CRM software
  • Hand off qualified opportunities with detailed information to our Business Development Representatives

Requirements:

  • A positive attitude, thick skin, and a sense of humor
  • At least two years of professional work experience, preferably in a business-to-business environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including a professional and pleasant telephone demeanor
  • Demonstrable written communication skills
  • Established time management skills
  • Ability to navigate and learn new software and systems
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Word
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working as an inside sales professional or in phone-based customer service
  • Experience communicating with business owners and executives
  • Experience using CRM software
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or related disciplines
