Versar Global Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Electronic Security Systems Specialist to join our team. This full-time role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced Access Control Systems and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance systems in various controlled environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the installation, upkeep, and repair of electronic security systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to electronic components.
  • Utilize electrical schematics and technical documentation for effective repairs and installations.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and engineers to ensure optimal performance of electronic systems.
  • Conduct testing and calibration of electronic equipment to guarantee precision and reliability.
  • Offer technical assistance to clients and address their questions or concerns.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License is necessary.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in electronic security systems.
  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
  • Compliance with DoD 8140 Certification standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) or alarm systems.
  • Familiarity with cabling techniques for data transmission or security systems.
  • Basic locksmithing skills for access control system installations.
  • Understanding of system design principles for electronic equipment.

Clearance Requirements:

Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain a Public Trust and/or Secret clearance, and successfully pass a federal level II criminal background check, motor vehicle screening, and drug testing.
