Position Details
This role involves working 64 hours every two weeks on the Day/Evening shift, with 8-hour shifts scheduled every other weekend. The position is eligible for benefits.

Key Responsibilities
As a Patient Care Technician, you will:
  • Provide essential patient care by performing routine tasks, including:
    • Collaborating with caregivers in care and decision-making.
    • Assisting with personal grooming, bathing, and toileting.
    • Feeding and addressing skin care needs, including clean and sterile dressing changes.
    • Performing oral hygiene and specimen collection/testing.
    • Assisting with patient positioning and ambulation.
    • Changing linens and promptly responding to call lights.

Additionally, you will:
  • Support nurses in monitoring patient conditions.
  • Accurately record vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, and oxygen saturation.
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Orient patients and families to the healthcare environment.
  • Ensure the safety and documentation of patient belongings during transitions.
  • Transport patients, equipment, specimens, and supplies efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of rooms and equipment.
  • Document tasks performed accurately in the appropriate records.

Qualifications
Required:
- Current registration on the MN CNA Registry
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers

Preferred:
- Experience in a hospital setting
