IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator

H2 Performance Consulting Corporation is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator to support our current contract with the Marine Corps Forces Reserve in New Orleans, LA.

Job Summary

The IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator will be responsible for initiating, managing, and reporting on Marine Information Technology Infrastructure Projects, including 161 sites. This is a full-time position that requires an active secret clearance at time of application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document project plans, including effort and duration estimates for all tasks.
  • Establish project timelines with intermediate milestones and associated dates.
  • Develop metrics and measures to monitor project progress and success.
  • Identify responsible parties for project tasks and document assigned responsibilities.
  • Identify and document project risks and communicate them to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate interrelated activities among disparate teams and team members.
  • Develop mechanisms to communicate ongoing project progress.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential obstacles or delays.
  • Develop mitigation tactics to avoid or overcome potential obstacles or delays.
  • Communicate project status to senior leadership and Government Lead.
  • Provide remediation for SharePoint and IIS infrastructure noncompliance with STIG checklist.
  • Follow MITSC-RES ITIL processes and procedures.
  • Provide on-call support for trouble tickets and design assistance to department site owners.
  • Operate in an agile development environment.
  • Remediate findings prior to established due dates for outstanding controls listed on the Risk Management Framework and STIG Plan of Action & Milestones.
  • Provide training on SharePoint to end users and site administrators.
  • Manage MFR SharePoint Site Owner certification distance learning course and MFR SharePoint Oversight Council.
  • Support Authority to Operate on DoD networks, including completing the Risk Management Framework package.
  • Develop and manage the enterprise approach to permission management and SharePoint governance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Ten years of direct Program/Project Management experience, including project management methodologies, IT infrastructure, and IT deployment and operational methodologies.
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP), Masters in Project Management (MPM), or Professional in Project Management (PPM) certifications.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 certification preferred.
  • Technical understanding of Network Engineering and facilities knowledge and experience preferred.
  • A current Secret security clearance.
