Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs at Central Piedmont Community College. This leadership position will play a critical role in driving the success of our academic programs and ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the development and implementation of academic programs
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to design and deliver high-quality academic programs that meet the needs of our students and the community
  • Develop and manage budgets for academic programs, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff and faculty, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
  • Represent the college at local, regional, and national events, promoting our academic programs and partnerships
Requirements
  • Master's degree in an applied program area or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience in higher education, specifically in academic affairs
  • Strong understanding of college policies, procedures, and academic programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
