Position Overview:

Your role will encompass a variety of personal care tasks aimed at enhancing the quality of life for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate care while assisting clients with daily living activities, including but not limited to:
    • Bathing
    • Dressing
    • Feeding
    • Toileting
    • Mobility assistance
  • Maintain a safe and secure home environment for clients.
  • Support clients with meal planning and preparation, as well as routine housekeeping tasks.
  • Engage clients in meaningful companionship, providing emotional support and encouraging cognitive activities.
  • Facilitate respite care for families according to established care plans.
  • Assist with errands and shopping, ensuring proper handling of client funds under supervision.
  • Help clients adhere to prescribed dietary plans and assist with medication reminders.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and community outings as outlined in care plans.
  • Document daily activities and observations accurately to maintain comprehensive records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance caregiving skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of personal care practices and home management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.
  • Strong observational skills to identify changes in client conditions.
  • Physical capability to perform caregiving tasks and manage stress effectively.
