Responsibilities

As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide service desk support and resolve problems to practitioner's satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Monitoring and responding quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
  • Troubleshooting and resolving all problems encountered with hardware and software, escalating requests to the appropriate party as needed
  • Providing desktop/laptop support, including new hardware setup, imaging, and deployment
  • Providing minor telecom system support, including mobile devices, voicemail, and user programming
  • Utilizing and maintaining ticket systems

Additional Responsibilities

You will also assist with on-boarding and off-boarding of users, ensuring that workstations are properly set up and configured. Additionally, you will provide support to the Technology team, maintaining inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses. You will also conduct briefings and demonstrations for users to enhance system productivity and assist in the development of training coursework and materials.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an Associate's degree in a field such as Computer Technology or a related field. Certifications such as MCP, A+, and HDI Support Center Specialist are preferred. You will also need to have a minimum of one (1) year prior experience with providing workstation support. You must be able to work independently or as part of a team effectively, prioritize tasks, maintain confidentiality, and provide exceptional client service. Strong analytical and organizational skills are necessary, as well as a sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects.
