Commercial HVAC Sales Engineer

L.C. Anderson, Inc., a reputable leader in commercial HVAC/R systems and services, is seeking a skilled, results-oriented, and customer-centric Commercial HVAC Sales Engineer. This role entails delivering cost-effective and prompt HVAC/R solutions, Planned Maintenance Agreements (PMAs), and Replacement proposals to commercial, industrial, and large institutional clients across the region. The main goal is to boost profitable sales and meet your annual targets by offering exceptional customer solutions, service, and support. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Sales Engineer, you will be accountable for:
1. Achieving annual sales targets with specific growth objectives in revenue and profitability through effective marketing strategies and customer relationship management to build loyalty and establish the Company as their trusted HVAC/R provider.
2. Managing the complete sales cycle for your assigned accounts, from developing, presenting, and closing Planned Maintenance and Replacement proposals to prospects and clients, while clearly setting expectations and overseeing project fulfillment and billing. Provide compelling evidence to support the Company’s value regarding Planned Maintenance and repair versus replacement decisions.
3. Utilizing existing relationships to generate referrals and identify new clients, while maintaining and managing your sales pipeline, coordinating with Operations for project completion, and managing customer expectations.
4. Acting as the Account Manager for your assigned clients, serving as their trusted advisor and primary contact for all HVAC/R needs, from budgeting capital expenditures to assisting with repair versus replacement decisions. As the Account Manager, you will own the customer relationship and be responsible for coordinating and communicating internally to advocate for the customer while externally managing and meeting customer expectations.
5. Providing timely and clear feedback to the Company’s management regarding business opportunities, competitive challenges, and customer expectations/issues.
6. Developing a comprehensive understanding of:
a. The Company’s product and service offerings.
b. The competitive landscape within your assigned territory.
c. The unique needs, requirements, and issues of your assigned accounts.
d. The business drivers and critical success factors in your assigned accounts to meet or exceed your annual targets.

Essential Technical Skills:
A solid understanding of HVACR systems is required, along with the ability to read and interpret HVACR mechanical, electrical, and piping specifications and project design documents to determine job scope requirements.

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution, or proven on-the-job experience and training. Previous experience with a commercial HVACR contractor is preferred.
