Job Description

CDS in Texas is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit time records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and balance payroll runs, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees
  • Explain company policies and procedures to clients and stakeholders
  • Process new clients and prepare reports, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax and labor laws
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in payroll accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel
  • Typing speed of 35 words per minute with high accuracy
