Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage timely payroll processing for a diverse client base on a weekly schedule.
  • Gather, analyze, and input data for onboarding new clients.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all payroll-related inquiries from clients and staff.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to achieve company-wide goals.
  • Continuously assess and enhance departmental processes for improved accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines efficiently.
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative procedures to streamline workflows.
  • Assist the Payroll Director with special projects and process improvements.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff, ensuring training materials are current.
  • Monitor payroll records to uphold compliance standards consistently.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing.
  • Strong foundation in basic mathematics.
  • Experience with payroll software is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs).
  • Familiarity with third-party payroll processing.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • High accuracy in data entry.
  • Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous.
  • Experience with historical data management is a plus.
  • Competence in data curation skills.
