Key Responsibilities:

The Product Marketing Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams focused on marketing Amphenol's cutting-edge power products within the Datacom sector, targeting OEM/ODMs in areas such as Rack & Power, Storage, and Networks. This role encompasses promoting products to the market, securing significant new design opportunities, and developing/executing strategies to accelerate business growth.

  • Effectively present and advocate for the Power Solutions portfolio, ensuring global sales teams comprehend the product positioning, advantages, and target demographics.
  • Engage closely with global sales teams to discern requirements and market trends, facilitating new design wins while maximizing share at key accounts through coordinated pricing and market strategies.
  • Drive the new business opportunity pipeline, assisting sales and the business unit in aligning strategies and actions necessary to capture each new opportunity; develop sales and marketing tools as needed.
  • Prepare and assist in monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts; conduct analysis and book-to-ship estimates.
  • Act as a liaison between customer inquiries and internal departments (Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, Quality, etc.), maintaining active engagement with customer commodity and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, engineering, business development, and operations) to proactively identify product and solution gaps, defining market requirements to optimize the total available market.
  • Oversee project timelines, product roadmaps, and technical deliverables.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% for customer interactions, field engagements, training sessions, and factory visits.
  • Participate in global team meetings outside of standard working hours as necessary.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess a versatile skill set, combining business insight with technical proficiency, and demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to new responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a technical engineering field.
  • Fluency in English; bilingual candidates fluent in Mandarin are a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, sales, and/or technical business development, preferably within an electronics product line in a related market.
  • Technical knowledge of the interconnect industry and/or familiarity with datacenter architecture, AI computing, and server/storage hardware.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, creativity, adaptability, and strong project management capabilities in a rapidly changing, multi-tasking environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, GANTT charts, etc.), and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, along with a proactive approach to achieving results.
