ROLE SUMMARY: The General Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of studio activities, encompassing sales and operational oversight.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years in fitness sales or related sales experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in driving personal sales and overseeing Sales Representatives.
  • Capability to manage diverse revenue streams, including memberships and retail.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and via phone.
  • Results-driven with a competitive edge and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Adept at identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes judiciously.
  • A genuine passion for fitness and wellness.
  • Strong writing and grammar proficiency.
  • Highly organized with excellent data management skills, able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Professional demeanor, punctuality, reliability, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy with the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the community.
  • Proficient in computer use and studio management software.
  • A college degree is preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE: This is a full-time role requiring flexibility, including availability for evenings and weekends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate leads through grassroots marketing and networking initiatives.
  • Implement a structured sales process to engage prospects in introductory classes.
  • Drive membership and retail sales.
  • Oversee staff scheduling and management.
  • Supervise Sales Representatives effectively.
  • Recruit and manage all instructors within the studio.
  • Make independent decisions to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio environment.
  • Enforce studio policies and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate and participate in community events and studio promotions.
  • Strategically manage marketing efforts to attract leads for the studio.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
