Job Overview

A prominent name in the luxury fitness industry is in search of a dedicated General Manager to spearhead our studio's success. This role encompasses comprehensive oversight of studio functions, from sales to operational management.

POSITION SUMMARY: The General Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the studio, ensuring all aspects from sales to daily operations are executed efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years in fitness sales or a related sales role is preferred.
  • Proven ability to drive personal sales and oversee a team of Sales Representatives.
  • Experience in managing diverse revenue streams, including memberships and retail sales.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and via phone.
  • Results-driven with a competitive edge and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Capability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective changes.
  • A genuine passion for fitness and wellness.
  • Strong writing and grammar proficiency.
  • Highly organized with adept data management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor, punctuality, reliability, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy with the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to foster harmonious relationships with colleagues, clients, and the public.
  • Proficient in computer usage and studio management software.
  • A college degree is preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE: This is a full-time role requiring flexibility, including availability for evenings and weekends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate leads through grassroots marketing and networking initiatives.
  • Implement effective sales processes to schedule potential clients for introductory classes.
  • Oversee membership and retail sales activities.
  • Manage staff scheduling and operations.
  • Supervise Sales Representatives and provide guidance.
  • Recruit and manage all instructors within the studio.
  • Make independent decisions to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized studio environment.
  • Enforce studio policies and operational procedures.
  • Plan and participate in community events and studio promotions.
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to attract new leads.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
